One country at a time, as its own press reports it, in plain English, with the numbers that matter there today.

How it works

Several times a day we read the public news feeds that major outlets in each country publish for syndication, including one business or financial paper per country. For each item, an AI model writes a one- or two-sentence summary in its own words from the outlet's headline and feed description. We show the summary, name the source, and link to the original article. We do not reproduce article text and we do not host the articles.

The numbers

Each country page carries five figures: the currency against the US dollar and the main stock index (daily, from public market feeds), the central bank's policy rate (from the bank's own announcements, dated on the page), and inflation and GDP growth (the World Bank's latest yearly figures). They are a daily briefing, not a trading feed.

Accuracy

Summaries are machine-written and can be wrong or miss context; they state only what the outlet's headline and description say. For anything that matters, read the original at the link. Nothing here is our reporting.
